A Town, lakes and a church. Somewhere up in the hills we rolled into a small town - no idea what it was called as we were following the group, not a map. Hey, someone must have known where we were? The group hadn't been making many stops along the way for sightseeing which was a shame since there was so much scenery to take in. After the town, a lake loomed through the mountains. It was too much. We pulled the '34 up and got some photos in. That's Mike Hughes by the lake. Jonny's dad to be precise. Somewhere later on the drive we got in front of Steve Hudson and his wife in his model T. Hardcore is the only way to describe driving that many miles in a T bucket. These great shots were through the back window as he chucked it round those mountain bends. Fantastic! More hills later and on the top of a craggy outcrop was this church or monastry or something. It was literally perched on the top of a piece of rock. |
