The Pyrenees - 1500 Miles Having foolishly insured me on his hotrod, I was behind the wheel today. We took a wrong turning toward Toulouse and had some serious miles to make up through the Pyrenees. Time to treat the rod like a rally car and see what she can really do? Bit heavy at the back, oversteers slightly if braking into a bend, nothing serious. Likes light accelleration through the bend and floor it on the way out. Lay the brakes on good and proper on the straight before the bend. Don't hit that brake on a wet bend though! Here we are at the 1500 miles point in our adventure The little lizard at the bottom was spied trying to get into my shoes. |
